BIRMINGHAM, Ala./KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and United Soccer Coaches announced their 2025 NCAA Division II All-America Teams, naming two MIAA student-athletes to the lists of honorees.
Belle Kennedy of Washburn University earned All-American honors by both the D2CCA (Third Team) and United Soccer Coaches (First Team).
Mikayla Ernst of the University of Central Missouri was named a Third Team All-America selection by the United Soccer Coaches.
A total of 16 players from six different MIAA institutions earned All-Region honors from the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches. Eleven players were named to the
D2CCA’s 2025 All-Central Region Team, while 14 players were named to the United Soccer
Coaches 2025 All-Central Region Team.
Nine players were named to the All-Central Region Teams for both the D2CAA and United Soccer Coaches. Central Oklahoma led the league with four All-Central Region selections, while Central Missouri, Missouri Western and Washburn each had three All-Region honorees. Pittsburg State had two All-Region selections, and Rogers State had one player named to the D2CCA All-Central Region Third Team.
Two-time All-American Kennedy and the Ichabods advanced to the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Final Four, hosted December 11-13 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Washburn is set to face Franklin Pierce University at 4 p.m. in the national semifinals on Thursday, December 11. The semifinal winners will advance to the national championship match, scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday.
