WICHITA, Kan. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced its All-Tournament Team from the 2025 Women’s Soccer Championship. The 14-member team is selected by the coaching staffs of the teams that qualified for the Association’s postseason tournament.
The top eight teams from the regular season advanced to the 2025 MIAA Women’s Soccer Championship, hosted November 9-15. Missouri Western captured its first-ever tournament title with a 2-1 overtime victory over Central Oklahoma in the championship match on Saturday, November 15, at the Scheels Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita, Kan.
Representing the MIAA champions on the 2025 All-Tournament Team are senior defender Nicoletta Froehlich, junior forward Kendall Knisley, and freshman forward Rosemary Pujado.
Representing the championship’s runner-up is sophomore midfielder Kaitlyn Cotton, freshman midfielder Jane Lockhart, and graduate student midfielder Adria Ramirez.
Emporia State and Northeastern State both exited the 2025 championship in the tournament’s semifinals. The Hornets suffered a 1-0 loss to the Bronchos and the RiverHawks fell to the Griffons 3-1. Representing Emporia State on the All-Tournament Team is senior defender Abby Bachman and freshman midfielder Kylie Richardson. Sophomore defender Hannah Anderson and senior forward Sydney Taylor represent Northeastern State on the team.
Central Missouri, Northwest Missouri, Pittsburg State and Washburn each competed in the championship’s quarterfinal contests. Representing the Jennies on the All-Tournament Team is junior midfielder Aspen Patterson, representing the Bearcats is senior forward Margaret Madden, representing the Gorillas is junior midfielder Macy Malik, and representing the Ichabods is senior midfielder Bella Kennedy.
