KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced new women’s soccer athletes of the week from week eight of the 2025 season. Pittsburg State’s Livi Jones and Jocelyn Kramar were named the league’s Defender and Goalkeeper of the Week while Washburn’s Mackinly Rohn was selected as the Offensive Athlete of the Week.
OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Mackinly Rohn, Washburn
Mackinly Rohn helped the Ichabods to a 2-0 week with wins over No. 12 Central Missouri (1-0) and Fort Hays State (2-1) in Topeka. The junior was responsible for Washburn’s victory over the ranked Jennies, scoring her first goal of the season with an 85th-minute game-winner on Friday night. She was also one-for-one on shots on goal in the Bods’ 2-1 win over the Tigers on Sunday.
DEFENDER OF THE WEEK: Livi Jones, Pittsburg State
Livi Jones played a big part in helping the Gorillas post back-to-back shutout wins at home over Missouri Western and No. 23 Northwest Missouri. The Jenks, Okla., native helped the Pitt State defense in holding opponents scoreless through 180 minutes of action. Jones also contributed offensively, scoring off a free kick against Missouri Western to ice the game away against the Griffons while firing off another shot on goal during the match. Against the ranked Bearcats, Jones added three shots while helping hold the Northwest offense to just four shots on goal. So far this season, the freshman defender has contributed two goals and two assists, with 10 of her 18 shots being on target, while also helping the Gorillas claim eight shutouts.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK: Jocelyn Kramar, Pittsburg State
Jocelyn Kramar delivered back-to-back shutout performances last week, helping the Gorillas to a 2-0 week at home against MIAA opponents while registering ten saves in goal. The Fort Collins, Colo., native recorded a season-high six saves against Missouri Western (Oct. 24) in the 2-0 win before making four saves in the 1-0 win over No. 23 Northwest Missouri (Oct. 26). This season, Kramar is first in the MIAA and 20th in Division II for goals against average at 0.494. She also ranks second in the conference and 12th in Division II with eight shutouts.
OTHER NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
Offensive – Rebekah George, Central Oklahoma
Rebekah George led Central Oklahoma to a pair of MIAA road wins this week, scoring a goal and assisting on another as the Bronchos blanked in-state rivals Northeastern State and Rogers State. George assisted on UCO's first goal Thursday night in Tahlequah as the Bronchos won 3-0. She then scored the lone goal on Sunday afternoon to beat Rogers State in Claremore.
Offensive – Ryann Clark, Central Missouri
Ryann Clark netted what proved to be the game-winning penalty-kick goal in the 63rd minute in Central Missouri’s 1-0 shutout win at Emporia State this past Sunday. It was her third goal of the season and second game-winner.
Defender – Sophia Gaskins, Central Oklahoma
Sophia Gaskins led Central Oklahoma's back line with a pair of MIAA shutouts this week, blanking in-state rivals Northeastern State and Rogers State. The freshman defender helped the Bronchos limit opponents to 16 total shots in two games, with only six shots on goal for the week. On Thursday night at Northeastern State, the hosts took nine total shots and put three on goal as the Bronchos earned the 3-0 win. On Sunday at Rogers State, the Hillcats took seven total shots and put three on goal as Central ran its unbeaten streak to seven games.
Goalkeeper – Avery Bass, Central Oklahoma
Avery Bass led Central Oklahoma to a pair of MIAA shutouts this week, blanking in-state rivals Northeastern State and Rogers State for her eighth and ninth shutouts of the year. Bass made six saves, three in each game, as her defense limited chances. The RiverHawks took nine total shots and the Hillcats took only seven. Bass's nine shutouts lead the MIAA this season and rank seventh in Division II.
Goalkeeper – Lili Everly, Washburn
Lili Everley played all 180 minutes this weekend as the Ichabods defeated No. 12 Central Missouri (1-0) and Fort Hays State (2-1) at home. The freshman kept a clean sheet in Friday night's victory over the ranked Jennies.
