MIAA Women's Golfers of the Week, Presented by T-Shotz

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced a new Women’s Golfer of the Week for the third week of the 2024 spring season.
 
MIAA Golfer of the Week – Lydia Sitorus, Rogers State   
Lydia Sitorus captured the individual title at the Hillcat Classic while also leading Rogers State to the team title earlier this week. The junior finished with a two-round card of 150 (+6) over the two rounds at Bailey Ranch Golf Club and finished two strokes ahead of second place. As a team, the Hillcats won the tournament with a 614 (+38), also two strokes ahead of second place.

NOTEABLE PERFORMANCES
Paige Hoffman – Northwest Missouri
Paige Hoffman finished second individually after a closing round 74 (+2) at the SMSU Spring Classic, held at the Wigwam Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz. The Bearcats placed third overall as a team. Hoffman finished at even par for the tournament. Hoffman tallied 14 pars, one birdie and three bogeys en route to her two-over 74, Hoffmans 28 pars for the tournament was the most in the field. Hoffman now has 16 top-10 finishes in her Bearcat career which is fourth best in program history.
 
Ines Vandaele – Missouri Western
Ines Vandaele helped the Griffons Women’s Golf take a share of the team title at the SMSU Spring Invitational in Litchfield Park, AZ. The sophomore from France finished third overall as an individual, firing a two-day total of 148 (+4), just one shot back of the lead. Shot 75 and 73 on consecutive days.
 
Claire Solovic – Central Missouri
Senior Claire Solovic was the top MIAA individual finisher at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Classic March 10-12 at Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Fla. Solovic finished the tournament tied for eighth, leading her team to a runner-up finish. Solovic fired rounds of 73 (+2), 74 (+3), and 72 (+1) to finish the tournament at 219 (+6). Her three rounds were highlighted by a hole-in-one on the 14th hole during her first round, it was the only hole-in-one of the tournament.
