KANSAS CITY, MO/RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Three MIAA women’s soccer players received All-America honors from the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) and United Soccer Coaches in the 2024 NCAA Division II season.
 
The MIAA received three All-America selections in the 2024 NCAA Division II women’s soccer season. Central Missouri’s Caroline Cole and Missouri Western’s Lauren Nylund were named All-Americans by the D2CCA while Central Missouri’s Ashleigh Martin represented the league on the United Soccer Coaches’ All-America Teams.
 
A Second Team selection, Caroline Cole was one of 12 NCAA Division II midfielders named to the 2024 D2CCA All-America Team. Cole scored eight goals, including a team-high four game-winning goals, and dished out a team-best seven assists for 23 points in 24 matches in 2024.
 
Lauren Nylund was one of 12 NCAA Division II defenders selected to the D2CCA All-America Team, earning Third Team honors. Nylund played a crucial role in the stout Western defense that achieved ten shutouts this season and a new program record with eight shutouts in the month of October. She led the Griffs with 1969 total minutes this season, exiting the pitch once due to injury for only 11 minutes. Nylund also made an important contribution to the offense, scoring 10 points with five goals this season.
 
Ashleigh Martin was the lone MIAA selection to the United Soccer Coaches 2024 NCAA Division II All-America Team. She was named a Third Team forward selection. Martin led the Jennies and the MIAA with ten goals scored and added six assists for a team and MIAA-high 26 points in 22 matches played in 2024. Three of her goals were game-winning goals. She also went an impressive 4-of-5 in penalty-kick attempts during the 2024 campaign. 
 
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three 2024 D2CCA All-America Teams.
