KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has announced new Football Athletes of the Week, presented by Mammoth. Three student-athletes earned weekly honors in Week Ten of the 2024 season.

OFFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Zach Zebrowski, Central Missouri
Zach Zebrowski has been honored as the MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week and fourth time overall this season. The redshirt senior quarterback threw for 358 yards and three touchdowns and added 92 rushing yards to lead Central Missouri past the previously No. 19/20-ranked Hornets 45-36 in Emporia. Zebrowski finished 34-for-46 for his 358 passing yards on the day while compiling his 92 rushing yards on 15 carries.

DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Zane Adams, Central Oklahoma
Zane Adams blocked a field goal as time expired to help Central Oklahoma defeat Washburn 28-27 in Topeka and clinch a share of the MIAA title. Adams totaled seven tackles in the game, forced one fumble, and made the play of the game on the final snap. The senior defensive lineman burst through the Ichabods’ field-goal team and got a hand on the kick, deterring it enough to fall short, giving the Bronchos the one-point victory.

SPECIAL TEAMS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Noah Guastella, Northwest Missouri
Noah Guastella tied for the most field goals made in a single game this season by an MIAA kicker, knocking in four field goals in Northwest’s 33-23 win at Missouri Western. Guastella connected on two first-quarter field goals from 26 and 37 yards. He also added a 32-yarder in the second quarter. The senior kicker put the game out of reach with a 22-yard field goal with 1:26 left in the fourth quarter and finished 3-for-3 on extra points against the Griffons. His four field goals also tied for the second-most field goals made by a Bearcat kicker in a game.
