Bracket Announced for 2023 MIAA/GAC Men's Tennis Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The stage is set for the 2023 MIAA/GAC Men’s Tennis Championship at the Edmond Center Court in Edmond, Okla.
 
The championship is set to begin Wednesday, April 19 with the opening round beginning at 10 a.m. Semifinal matches will play out on Thursday at 10 a.m. The championship match will begin at 9 a.m. Friday morning, April 21. The opening round will be played at the University of Central Oklahoma, while the semifinals and finals taking place at Edmond Center Court.
 
The MIAA and Great American Conference (GAC) played a north/south men's tennis divisional schedule with conference matches counting towards their tournament seed. 
 
Northwest Missouri claimed the No. 1 seed out of the North Division with a perfect 3-0 record against MIAA foes. Washburn will be the No. 2 seed with a 3-1 record in the league. Newman clinched the final seed from the North Division with a 2-2 conference record.
 
Harding tabbed the No. 1 seed in the South Division after going 2-1 against GAC opponents. Ouachita Baptist also went 2-1, claiming the No. 2 seed in the tournament. Southeastern Oklahoma State will be the No. 3 seed from the South Division, clinching its ticket to Edmond by going 1-2.
 
The champion of the tournament will become an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Central Region Championship.
