KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association celebrates its 20th Anniversary of post-season basketball in Kansas City’s historic Municipal Auditorium. The men’s and women’s championships, presented by
Southern Bank, tip-off Wednesday, March 1.
Municipal Auditorium has a rich history in College Basketball and has served as the home of the MIAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships since 2003. The arena has hosted over 80 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games, including nine Final Fours, which is more than any other venue in NCAA basketball history.
The MIAA will also be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. The Association will be honoring 14 “Title IX Champions” throughout the 2023 tournament. Each MIAA member institution selected an individual who has been a champion of Title IX on their campuses. All 14 champions, living or deceased, will be recognized and presented an award on the MIAA court during the tournament.
Fans can watch all the action of the 2023 MIAA Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championship live on the MIAA Digital Network. Games can be purchased individually for $10 each, or you can receive access to all 18 broadcasts by purchasing a tournament pass for $35. All active MIAA Network all-access and monthly subscribers receive all tournament games as part of their subscription.
Tickets for the 2023 MIAA Basketball Championships are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets on all 14 MIAA campuses, at the
Municipal Auditorium Box Office, or via
Ticketmaster. Single-session ticket are $20 for adults and $10 for students. All-Tournament Passes can be purchased for $50 on MIAA campuses and for $75 on Ticketmaster.
