Pittsburg State Hosts 2023 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The 2023 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships begin Friday, February 24 at Pittsburg State’s Robert W. Plaster Center on the Harvey Dean Track in Pittsburg, Kan.
 
The three-day event opens with the Pentathlon and Heptathlon events Friday afternoon, starting at 1:50 p.m. Both Saturday and Sunday will lead off with field events starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday, followed by track events starting at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday and 1:20 on Sunday. Admission will be charged at the door each day. Single Day tickets cost $8 for adults and $4 for students and children ages 3-18. Children under the age of two will be free of charge. Heat sheets will be sold for $2 at the venue. Three Day/All-Session passes will be sold for $15.
 
Fans can watch the 2023 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships live on the MIAA Digital Network. For the first time in championships history, this year's broadcast will include specific event cameras to help provide enhanced coverage of the meet. Fans can purchase an individual camera for $10, or can select a $15 weekend plan and gain access to all 12 web streams that will take place throughout the three-day meet. Pittsburg State’s men’s are reigning back-to-back indoor champions, while the women have taken five of the last six titles.
