KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2022 MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships begins Friday, May 6 at Emporia State University's
Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kan.
The three-day event begins with the Pentathlon and Heptathlon events Friday afternoon. Both Saturday and Sunday will begin with field events with track events starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11:15 a.m. on Sunday. To see the full schedule of events,

Admission will be charged at the door Saturday and Sunday only. Single Day tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (65+) and juniors (4-17). Two Day/All-Session passes will be sold for $18. Children three and under will be free of charge.
The championships will be streamed live on the MIAA Network. A single day pass will be $10 and fans can also purchase a $15 All-Access pass for the weekend. MIAA Network All-Access and monthly subscribers will have access to all three days of the track & field meet.
Pittsburg State is the reigning outdoor champion on the men’s side and Missouri Southern captured the women’s outdoor championship title in 2021.
Seven men's teams rank in the lastest men's USTFCCCA's Top-25 in Division II. The Gorillas lead the group at No. 5, Central Missouri ranks sixth, Missouri Southern ranks 14th, Washburn 19th, Lincoln 20th, Nebraska Kearney 21st and Fort Hays State ranks 22nd.
Five women's team rank in the most recent women's USTFCCCA's Top-25. The Gorillas also lead on the women's side coming in at No. 9, Lincoln currently ranks 13th, Fort Hays State ranks 17th, Central Missouri ranks 18th and Missouri Southern ranks 20th in Division II.
