KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA has announced a partnership with Sports Performance Tracking to become the Official Performance Tracker of the MIAA. The MIAA becomes the first conference ever to partner with SPT & Performance Tracking Technology.

"As the MIAA continues to be a national leader in all sports, we thought this partnership gave our programs yet another tool to help maximize their training as they compete for both MIAA and NCAA championships," said Commissioner Mike Racy. "We are excited to be the first conference to partner with SPT and look forward to hearing how this technology benefits our student-athletes."

SPT provides both GPS and Heart Rate Sports Wearable Technology to athletic programs across the country. Currently, four MIAA women's soccer programs and one MIAA football program are utilizing the technology. As part of the partnership, all MIAA programs utilizing the Performance Tracking Technology and any new programs looking to invest into the equipment will receive first-class customer support and advanced training on the product.

"SPT continues to become the preferred GPS & Heart Rate tracking system for collegiate programs across the nation and we are very excited to be the performance tracking partner of the MIAA," said Jacob Norlock, Senior Vice President of Sports Performance Tracking. "The MIAA is already known as one of the most competitive conferences in the nation and we look forward to raising the bar even higher to push each program to the next level."
