TOPEKA, Kan. - Nebraska Kearney claimed the 2021 MIAA Spring Volleyball Tournament Championship, out-lasting Northwest Missouri State by a 3-2 score (25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 15-13). The tournament was hosted by Washburn University.

The Lopes were tested today, after 3-0 sweeps of Newman and Central Oklahoma in the opening rounds. After taking the first two sets against Northwest, the Bearcats battled back to tie the match at 2-2. However, Nebraska Kearney won the fifth set, 15-13.

Madison Squiers of UNK was the Most Outstanding Player, voted on by the coaches.
