TOPEKA, Kan. - The Pittsburg State Gorillas won the 2021 MIAA Men's Indoor Track & Field team title on at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility in Topeka, Kansas. The Gorillas scored 122 points and won three individual events.
The men's distance medley relay of Connar Southard, Graham Hudelson, Matt Wilson and Mason Strader won on Saturday evening in 9:48.91. Tevin Wright-Rose was victorious in the 60m dash in 6.83. Teammate Raymond Brass won the 60m hurdles on Sunday in 8.23.
Missouri Southern's Ryan Riddle was the men's high-point total winner. The Lions' distance runner won the 3,000 meter and mile competitions. He placed second in the 5,000 meter run on Saturday evening.
For the team standings, Missouri Southern was second with 112 points and Northwest Missouri State took third with 99 points.
