KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Feb. 16, 2021) - The MIAA announced its sixth wrestling athlete of the week award for the 2020-21 season. This week's winner is Mason Turner from Fort Hays State.
Turner pinned the top-ranked wrestler at 125 pounds in his only action last week. Turner, the second-ranked 125-pound wrestler in Division II, won the marquee matchup with a pin 49 seconds into the third period. Turner is now 9-1 on the season, including five wins via pin and three tech fall victories.

Wesley Dawkins - Nebraska-Kearney
Ranked third at 133 pounds, Dawkins was up 14-0 last Thursday night before pinning Broderick Green of Fort Hays State at 2:17. He is now 8-2 on the year with four falls and a tech fall.
