KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA has announced a conference wide partnership with Opendorse to become the Association's Official Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) Technology Partner. The agreement makes the MIAA the first NCAA Division II conference to partner with Opendorse.

"NIL is a student-centered focus for the MIAA and we are excited to partner with an industry leader like Opendorse," said Commissioner Mike Racy. "This partnership will help many more MIAA student-athletes promote their brands, discover NIL opportunities and monitor NIL activities through all the wonderful services that Opendorse offers."

As part of the partnership, every MIAA student-athlete can now have access to the full suite of Opendorse NIL products. Using Opendorse Deals, MIAA student-athletes can now take advantage of the leading compliant NIL marketplace by receiving, applying for, and executing NIL deals. Through this partnership with Opendorse, MIAA student-athletes will find education materials, resources and guidance on how to build their individual brands and how to maximize their opportunities with NIL.

The three-year partnership also provides a discount to all MIAA member institutions to utilize the full resource advantages Opendorse provides. This includes the use of Opendorse Monitor where the department can track all student-athlete NIL disclosures and transactions.

The MIAA was one of the first NCAA conferences to jump into the collegiate NIL space, by partnering with KC firm Empower U for institutional support in navigating state NIL laws and NCAA NIL policies. Empower U continues to support the Association as the MIAA's Official NIL Compliance Partner.
