KANSAS CITY, Mo (October 7, 2020) - The MIAA Conference Office announced that it formed an assessment team to conduct campus visits to Rogers State and Newman. Both universities are currently Associate Members of the MIAA in all sports. 

The mission of the Association’s assessment team is to evaluate RSU and NU as they explore full-membership into the MIAA. Nancy Mitchell, President/CEO of Strategic Edge Athletic Consulting, is leading the group in the visit process. The assessment team is made up of athletic administrators, faculty representatives, and conference office staff members. 

Rogers State will host the group on Wednesday, October 7 as Newman will welcome them later this month. A formal visit report from the Assessment team will be shared with MIAA’s Institutional Representatives Council (IRC) and CEO Council at the conclusion of the visit process.
