MIAA Members Announce Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designees

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 30, 2020) - The MIAA announced the Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designees (ADIDs) at each member institution. The ADID was appointed by their university president or chancellor.  

The designee serves as the primary point of contact to receive and distribute information around diversity and inclusion topics. The individual also serves as the point of communication between the NCAA, the Association office, and their respective campus for information in regard to inclusive programs, emerging diversity issues, and other related equity initiatives. 

The designee can be from the athletic department or outside of the department but must be an employee of the institution and have access to student-athletes, coaches, and administrators whether in-person or by other means of communication.
