Pittsburg, Kan. – Seventh ranked Pittsburg State outscored Missouri Southern 37-16 in the first half as they claimed the MIAA regular season title with a 70-48 win at home.
 
For the Gorillas Mikaela Burgess led the way with 22 points also dishing out three assists. Madison Northcutt added a double-double on the night with 11 points and 10 rebounds while Brenlee McPherson was also in double digits with 10 points.
 
Most teams have just two conference games remaining as they push towards Feb. 25 when the MIAA Tournament seeds will be revealed.
