Earn 8-4 win over Minnesota-Duluth

Magnolia, Ark. – Seventh seeded Central Oklahoma racked up 12 hits as they eliminated sixth seeded Minnesota-Duluth in an 8-4 win at the NCAA Division II Central Regional.
 
The Bronchos got the scoring started as Halley Randolph drove in Morgan Herad with a double in the top of the third inning. Duluth would answer with a run in the bottom of the third and fourth innings. UCO would tie the game back up as Rachel Harper scored on an Ashton Smith sacrifice fly.
 
The Bronchos would then explode in the top of the sixth inning as Ally Dziadula got things started with an RBI single scoring JoBi Heath. Carrie Abrams would then score via an error and Dziadula would come home on a wild pitch. Ashleigh Tramel would then score Lauren Kelley with a sacrifice bunt to make it a 6-2 advantage.
 
They would then tack on two insurance runs in the top of the seventh as JoBi Heath homered to left field driving in Tori Collet. Minnesota Duluth would grab two runs in the bottom half of the inning but get no closer.
 
Heath went two for four on the day with two runs scored and two runs driven in while Ashton Smith went two for three with an RBI. Carli Jones and Ally Dziadula also finished two for four in the ballgame. In the circle Nicole Brady came on in relief pitching the final 3.1 innings allowing just four hits and two runs to pick up the win.
 
Central Oklahoma will now face third seeded Missouri Western in a elimination game coming up tonight from Dawson Field in Magnolia, Ark.
