Pittsburg, Kan. -- Second seeded Pittsburg State got 19 points off of turnover as they held on to defeat top seeded Emporia State 78-74 in the NCAA Division II Central Regional final. 

For the Gorillas Cathy Brugman led the way with 27 points going a perfect 10 of 10 from the free throw line. Mikaela Burgess finished with 17 points, Kyle Gafford had 14 points and Hadyn Herlocker finished with 10 points.
 
For the Lady Hornets Kelly Moten led the way with 25 points while dishing out six assists. Addie Lackey had 13 points, Sandra Ngoie had 11 points and Kathryn Flott had ten points and pulled down nine rebounds.
 
PSU will face Grand Valley State at 8:30 p.m. on March 22 in the Elite Eight from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
