Pittsburg, Kan. – Second seeded Pittsburg State outscored sixth seeded Arkansas Tech 16-5 in overtime to pull out the 91-80 win to advance to the round of the 16 teams.
 
For the Gorillas Cathy Brugman scored 31 points going 16 of 16 from the line with six rebounds. Mikaela Burgess scored 21 points while Paige Lungwitz had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
 
It will be an all-MIAA Central Regional final as top seeded Emporia State faces off with second seeded Pittsburg State at 7 p.m. on March 14 from John Lance Arena in Pittsburg, Kan.
