Kansas City, Mo. – Three teams remain undefeated as week two in MIAA football came to an end with two games in Oklahoma.
 
Fort Hays State 48, Northeastern State 13
Fort Hays State racked up 408 yards of total offense as they picked up their fist win of the season at Northeastern State. FHSU took advantage of four NSU turnovers as the two teams together finished with more than 700 total yards.
 
For the Tigers Treveon Albert was 12 of 22 for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Ed Williams caught eight passes for 113 yards and one touchdown and Eward Smith ran for 70 yards and a score. On defense Justin McPhail had eight tackles and picked off an NSU pass.
 
For the RiverHawks Kevin Pantastico was 23 of 37 for 297 yards and two touchdowns. Ricki Herod caught four passes for 97 yards and a touchdown while Garrett Powell caught nine passes for 57 yards and a score. On the defensive side of the ball Kenneth Davis led the way with seven tackles and Carson Smallwood finished with one sack.
 
Central Oklahoma 26, Missouri Western 17
Seth Hiddink connected on a field goal with just 17 seconds to play Central Oklahoma moved to 2-0 with a win over Missouri Western. Cody Jones would then return an interception for a touchdown as time expired to give the Bronchos the nine-point win. 
 
For the Bronchos Chas Stallard led the way going 29 or 37 for 271 yards and a touchdown. Stallard finished with 90 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well, hitting Connor Pulley with the touchdown pass. On defense Chass Glaspie had 11 tackles and Matt Pruitt added nine stops while Jones finished the night with two interceptions.
 
For the Griffons Skyler Windmiller was 17 of 30 for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Raphael Spencer had 86 yards rushing while Branynn Clark and Stephon Weaver each hauled in touchdown catches. On defense Stephen Jeregens had 11 tackles and Michael Jordan picked off a pass.
