Winona, Minn. – A walk-off 8-7 win by Augustana sends Missouri Western to the loser’s bracket in the NCAA Division II Central Regional hosted by Winona State. Missouri Western used a four run fifth inning to take the lead, but could not hold off a late Vikings charge.

At the plate for the Griffons Kat Stepohovich was one for four with a home runs driving in three runs. Taylor Anding also drove in two runs as Tiffany Gillaspy scored twice.

Jackie Bishop struck out five in the losing effort for MWSU. Missouri Western will face Southern Arkansas on May 10 at 3:30 p.m. in an elimination game.
