Kansas City, Mo. – Central Missouri turned the ball over just six times as they advanced to the NCAA Division II National Semi Final with a 98-88 victory over Southern Connecticut State. UCM shot .508 from the field and held the Owls to .424 shooting as they won their fourth straight in the post-season.
Daylen Robinson led the way for the Mules scoring a career high 28 points and pulling down five rebounds as well as dishing out five assists. Dillon Deck had a double-double on the afternoon scoring 16 points and adding a game high 11 rebounds.
Charles Hammork was just shy of a double-double going six of seven from the line and scoring 18 points which he added to eight rebounds. Jon Gilliam was three of four from behind the three-point line with 11 points and TJ Wolfe also finished with 11 points.
Central Missouri will face the winner of Tuskegee and Metro State in the national semi final at 7 p.m. on March 27 from Evansville, Ind.
