Kansas City, Mo. – Missouri Southern swept Lindenwood as the final week of the regular season in MIAA basketball rolled along.

WBB – MSSU 71, LWU 61
Missouri Southern put up 45 points in the second half as they earned a victory on the road at Lindenwood. MSSU shot .591 from the field in the second half as they moved to 11-6 in the MIAA this season.
For the MSSU Lions Alexis Fitzpatrick had 18 points and pulled down five rebounds on the night. Sharese Jones had 15 points and eight rebounds while Shonte Clay finished with 11 points. For the LWU Lions Kassidy Gengenbacher led the way with a game high 26 points and three assists. Caroline Bourlioux pulled down 10 rebounds and Morgan Johnson added 10 points.
MBB – MSSU 90, LWU 74
Missouri Southern got 23 points off of turnover as they earned a victory on the road at Lindenwood. The game saw 20 total three-pointers as MSSU hit 10 and moved to 13-4 in the league this season.
For the MSSU Lions Slim Magee had a double-double scoring 17 points and pulling down 18 rebounds as Austin Wright led the way with 23 points. Marquis Addison had 14 points and Cameron Cornellius added 12 points while Jordan Talbert pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists. For the LWU Lions Tyler Ressel led the way with 16 points and Garrett Reeg had 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Darris Smith finished with 15 points and six assists while Rayko Dundalov had 12 points.
