Kansas City, Mo. --
A top 25 match-up highlights the schedule as MIAA football prepares for week seven.

Lindenwood at Nebraska-Kearney
Both teams will be looking to pick up their second win of the season as Lindenwood travels to Nebraska-Kearney in week seven. MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week Bronson Marsh now has six touchdowns on the ground and has thrown for five touchdowns. Cougar Williams has caught two touchdown passes and Allen Sampson has 172 yards receiving and one touchdown. On defense Tyke Kozeal is leading the way with 80 tackles and George Brown has picked off two passes. For the Lions Graham Lindman has passed for 769 yards and six touchdowns. Jaron Alexander has caught 31 passes for 351 yards and two scores. On the defensive side of the ball Connor Harris has a team best 78 tackles to go along with two opponents passes picked off.

Missouri Western at Washburn
Missouri Western will travel to Washburn in week seven as they look to pick up their fifth win of the season. For the Griffons Raphael Spencer is leading the way averaging 119 yards per game rushing with five touchdowns. Skyler Windmiller has completed 65 of 126 passes for 645 yards and three touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball Stephen Juergens has 58 tackles and Michael Jordan has picked off three passes. For the Ichabods Zeke Palmer has passed for 719 yards with three touchdown and DaJuan Beard has hauled in 25 catches for 303 yards and four scores. Vershon Moore has carried the ball 99 times for 445 yards and three touchdowns averaging 74.2 yards per game. On defense Calvin Kenney has 69 total tackles with one interception.

Central Oklahoma at Central Missouri
Central Oklahoma is riding a two game winning streak and Central Missouri rides a three game winning streak as the two teams face off in Warrensburg in week seven. The Mules are led by LaVance Taylor who has carried the ball 105 times for 794 yards and nine touchdowns. Hayden Hawk is 115 of 202 for 1,374 yards and seven touchdowns and has also rushed for five scores on the season. Ricky Spratley has a team best 61 tackles on defense with Alex Perlin adding 50 stops. For the Bronchos Chas Stallard has 934 passing yards with five touchdowns adding 319 yards on the ground with three scores. Jake Gandara has rushed for 582 yards and eight touchdowns while Connor Pulley has hauled in four touchdown catches. MIAA Defensive Athlete of the Week Chass Glaspie has 63 tackles and Cody Jones has picked off four passes.

Fort Hays State at Emporia State
Both teams will be looking to remain above .500 as Fort Hays State travels in state to Emporia State for week number seven. The Tigers are led by Treveon Albert who has 870 passing yards and six touchdowns while adding two more scores on the ground. Ed Williams and Isaiah Maxi each have two receiving touchdowns and Edward Smith has rushed for a team best three scores. On defense Brock Long leads the way with 50 tackles and Justin McPhail has 46 stops and a team high two interceptions. For the Hornets Ty Reasnor has 299 passing yards in two starts with three touchdowns. Antonio Brown has rushed for five touchdowns and Austin Willis has caught 32 passes for 576 yards and six scores with Kavaski Ervin catching four touchdown passes. On the defensive side of the ball Deshawn Dinwiddie has 43 tackles and Kadeem Satchell and Deveon Dinwiddie have each picked off two passes.

Northeastern State at Missouri Southern
Missouri Southern will play host to the MIAA Television Network Game of the Week as Northeastern State comes to town in search of their first win. The Lions are led by Giresse Forchu who has rushed for 345 yards and 10 touchdowns and Michael Nelson who has 361 yards and five scores. Scott Lathrop has run for two touchdowns and also passed for two and Shannon Saunders has added three rushing touchdowns. On defense Johnquavious McBride and Gaige Washington have each made a team high 48 tackles. For the RiverHawks Kevin Pantastico has 1,225 yards passing with four touchdowns and has also scored one on the ground. Garrett Powell has 441 receiving yards and two touchdowns. On defense Steffon Herd has a team best 44 tackles and Lane Dortch has added 39 stops.

#17 Pittsburg State at #1 Northwest Missouri
It will be a battle of top 25 teams as #1 Northwest Missouri welcomes #17 Pittsburg State to Maryville in week seven. For the Bearcats Brady Bolles has 1,442 passing yard with 11 touchdowns adding 131 yards on the ground with three scores. Robert Burton and Phil Jackson each have six touchdowns on the ground while Korey Jackson is leading the way with three touchdowns catches. On defense Eric Reimer has 37 total tackles and MIAA Special Team Athlete of the Week Marcus Jones has recovered two fumbles. For the Gorillas Anthony Abenoja has 1,664 passing yards with 14 touchdowns adding two more on the ground. Gavin Lutman has six total touchdown catches including four last week in an MIAA single game record setting 268-yard performance. On defense Spencer Brown has 46 tackles and Deron Washington and De’Vante Bausby each have three picks.
