Earn 5-2 win over Armstrong Atlantic

Kansas City, Mo. -- Central Oklahoma used a three run fifth inning to earn a 5-2 victory over Armstrong Atlantic in the NCAA Division II Softball Championships.

The Bronchos got on the board in the third plating two on a two-run home run by Kacie Edwards. The Pirates would answer in the bottom half of the inning with a two run homer of their own. UCO would then bat around in the fifth inning to plate three and cruise to the victory.

For the Bronchos Ally Dziadula went two for four with a a run scored and a stolen base. Kaylee Burnson was one for three with a two run triple and a run scored. Hannah Justice went one for three and scored two runs while Haley Hudson drove in a run. In the circle Kalynn Schrock pitched seven strong allowing just two hits and two earned runs while striking out 15 on the afternoon.

Central Okahoma will play the winner of this afternoon's Molloy/Valdosta State game on May 24 at 4 p.m. from Salem, Va.
