Kansas City, Mo. – Central Oklahoma used a three run third inning to close the door on a 5-2 win over Winona State in the NCAA Central Super Regional.
For the Bronchos Kacie Edwards was one for four with two runs driven in. Sam Cool finished the night one for three with two runs driven in. Nicole Workman went one for two with a solo home run. Ally Dziadula was two for four with two runs scored while Hannah Justice and Kaylee Brunson each scored a run. Kalynn Schrock pitched seven inning striking out nine while allowing just one earned run.
The two teams will lock horns again tomorrow 2 p.m. in the second of a best of three series in Edmond, Okla.
