Kansas City, Mo. – Nebraska-Kearney hit .282 as a team and forced 28 Southwest Minnesota errors as they earned a 3-1 victory in the NCAA Division II Central Regional. The Lopers had seven blocks and seven service aces in the 25-21, 25-18, 26-28 and 25-14 victory.
Jenna Rouzee had a double-double with 43 assists and added 18 digs. Ariel Krolikowski also had a double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs.
Ellie Pesavento hit a match high .500 with 13 kills as Katie Sokolowski added 12 kills. Ashley Leitner also finished in double figures for the Lopers as she finished with 10 kills. MJ Massanet had 17 digs and Liz McGowan added 18 total digs.
UNK will now await the winner of the other regional semi-final between Concordia St. Paul and Minnesota Duluth at 7 p.m. on Dec. 1 from St. Paul, Minn.
