Clint Prange, Track and Field Student-Athlete

Prange holds the school record for the indoor shot put, outdoor shot put and the discus, while also ranking 7th all-time in the hammer throw. He was an MIAA champion in both the indoor shot put and discus but achieved even greater success at the NCAA Championship meets. Six times during his career, Prange earned All-America honors. He was a three-time discus champion and won the outdoor shot put title in 2005. During that event, Prange recorded a throw measuring 66-feet, 1-inch – a mark that still stands as an NCAA Division II national record. His accomplishments were just as impressive in the classroom, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning an NCAA postgraduate scholarship. Following his senior season, Prange was honored by the MIAA as the receipent of the Ken B. Jones Award.
