Anderson was a two-time National Champion for Jennies Track & Field, winning the 2005 steeplechase and the 2006 indoor 5,000 meters. She was a six-time All-American earning honors in the 2003, 04 and 05 steeplechase; the 2005 and 06 indoor 5,000 meters; and the 2006 indoor distance medley relay. She holds the school record in the indoor 5,000 meters, indoor distance medley relay and steeplechase. She is second all-time at UCM in the outdoor 5,000 meter run, third in the indoor mile and outdoor 1,500 meters, fourth in the indoor 3,000 meter run and outdoor 3,000 meters and seventh in the 10,000 meters. She was the MIAA’s Ken B. Jones Award winner as the conference’s top female student-athlete and the Division II Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She was a 25-time All-MIAA performer during her career. She recently qualified for the 2016 United States Olympic Trials in the marathon. She was a four-time Academic All-MIAA selection and was a three-time Academic All-American. She was a member of the Dean’s List every semester at Central Missouri. She was a 2012 inductee into the Central Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame.
