A four-time MIAA honoree and a three-time All-MIAA First Team performer, Dreiling was selected the 2011 MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. He also was tabbed the 2011 NCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Year by the Don Hansen Football Committee after posting 139 tackles (51 solo) with 17.0 tackles-for-loss, seven interceptions and six pass breakups. Dreiling was selected the NCAA Division II Freshman of the Year in 2010 when he led the division with 160 tackles (73 solo) and 20.5 tackles-for-loss. Dreiling set PSU and MIAA records for career tackles (491) and helped lead the Gorillas to a 13-1 record and the 2011 NCAA Division II National Championship.
