Henry Iba
Men's Basketball Coach
Northwest Missouri (1929-33)

Iba was 93-15 in four seasons as the head men's basketball coach at Northwest from 1929-33. His teams won three MIAA Championships (1930, 1932, 1933), including a perfect 31-0 season in 1930. Iba would go on to win 15 conference championships and two NCAA championships (1945, 1946) as the head coach at Oklahoma State (formerly Oklahoma A&M).

Iba coached the USA Olympic basketball team in 1964, 1968 and 1972. He is the only coach in USA Olympic basketball history to win two gold medals (1964 in Tokyo; 1968 in Mexico City). The 1972 final resulted in a controversial loss to the Soviet Union, breaking Team USA's 63-game win streak since basketball was introduced to the Olympics in 1936. Iba holds a lifetime coaching record of 804-331.

Iba was inducted into Northwest's "M" Club Hall of Fame in 1980 and was the first coach ever inducted. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1969, and the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
