Tammy Wilson - Central Missouri
Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete (1985-1989)
Tammy Wilson remains the Jennies’ career leader in scoring (2,104 points) and rebounding (1,205 rebounds). She is the only basketball player in Central Missouri history, male or female, to score over 2,000 career points and have over 1,000 career rebounds. Wilson earned back-to-back All-American awards (1987-88, 1988-89). In addition to holding the Jennies’ career scoring and rebounding records, she also is the Jennies’ career leader in field goal percentage (59.3) and is the Jennies’ single-season record holder for points (676) and field goal percentage (62.7). Wilson led the Jennies in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was the MIAA most valuable player as a sophomore and a junior. Wilson is still sixth in the MIAA all-time in scoring and second in rebounding.
