Lamonte Pruitt - Men’s Basketball

Lamonte Pruitt was an All-MIAA first team selection for three seasons and a two-time MIAA Player of the Year (1971-72 and 1972-73). He led the MIAA in scoring in 1972-73 (684 points, 20.5 per game), and in rebounding in 1973-74 (358 rebounds, 13.8 per game), which remains a single-season record for the Blue Tigers. Pruitt is currently third all-time on Lincoln’s scoring chart with 1,825 points, and fourth all-time on Lincoln’s rebounding chart with 949 boards. He also led the Blue Tigers to an MIAA regular season championship and NCAA tournament appearance during the 1971-72 season.
