Eighth seeded Washburn will play host to an opening round game with #9 Fort Hays State at 7 p.m. on March 2 from Topeka, Kan.

Alex North averages 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest while Kevin House averages 2.3 assists per game.
 
The Tigers went 9-10 in the league and enter the week averaging 76.5 points while allowing 67.4 points per game this season. They are led by Dom Samac who is averaging 10.7 points and James Fleming with 10.2 points per game. Royce Williams averaging 10.1 points and Achoki Mokobu is averaging 10.0 points per game.
 
The winner will face off with top seeded Northwest Missouri at 12 noon on March 5 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City.
