#5 Pittsburg State vs. #12 Northeastern State
Fifth seeded Pittsburg State will track on #12 Northeastern State in the opening round of the MIAA Tournament on March 2 at 7 p.m. from Pittsburg, Kan.
 
The Gorillas went 12-7 in the league this regular season and are averaging 71.1 points per game on offense while allowing an average of 70.2 points per game. Josiah Gustafson is leading the way averaging 16.4 points and Devon Branch 14.7 points per game.  On the glass Lamine Dieng is averaging 4.8 boards per game while Javis Flynn averages 5.3 assists per game.
 
The RiverHawks went 5-14 in league play and are averaging 68.6 points while allowing 78.3 points per game this season. Demone Harrison leads the way averaging 12.5 points while Trey Mohair leads the way with 2.8 assists per game. Keon Littleton is averaging 10.4 points while leading the way on the glass with 5.9 boards per contest.
 
The winner will face of with fourth seeded Lindenwood at 2:15 p.m. on March 5 from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
