#7 Emporia State at #2 Southwest Baptist
Second seed Southwest Baptist will play host to seventh seed Emporia State for their opening game in the MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament.
 
The Bearcats are led by Karla Jamison who has 11 goals and seven assists and Kate Jamison who has six goals and five assists. Whitney Snow has eight goals and two assists and Elin Hammar has four goals and a team best nine assists. In goal Cheyenne Forshey has a 0.87 goals against average with 60 saves and five shutouts.
 
For the Hornets Grace Linton is leading the way with seven goals while Jordan Foutch has three goals and one assist. Amelie Heun has scored three goals and Kelsey Wakefield has two goals and two assists. In goal Yadira Rivera has a 0.99 goals against average and seven shutouts.
 
The winner will take on the winner of third seed Fort Hays State and sixth seed Missouri Western at 4 p.m. on Nov. 7 from the College Boulevard Activities Complex.
