KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The MIAA announced today that Short’s Travel Management (STM) will be the Preferred Travel Partner of the Association.

"The MIAA is excited to announce our new partnership with Short’s Travel, the nation's premier sports travel management company," said MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy. "We look forward to combining Short’s Travel's innovative technology solutions, exemplary customer service and cost-savings opportunities at MIAA championships and special events."

Currently, over 50 collegiate athletic departments have consolidated their travel with Short’s Travel and they have served as the NCAA’s travel partner since 2003. They also book more than $110 million in air travel on behalf of athletics travelers each year. This agreement which runs through the end of the 2020-21 academic year makes the MIAA the first conference office in NCAA Division II to partner with Short’s Travel Management.

“The opportunity to work with one of the best Division II conferences in the nation is a natural fit given Short’s Travel Management’s local presence and sports travel expertise. We look forward to providing value and savings to the MIAA and all members throughout our partnership,” says  Megan Howard, Director of Sales at STM.
