MIAA Basketball Championship Games to be carried live on Spectrum Sports, Cox KS and Midco Sports Network

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the third consecutive year, the MIAA Basketball Championship games will be carried on live television in Kansas City and across several markets in the state of Kansas.

The broadcast will air live at 1:00 p.m. CST beginning with the Men’s Championship game followed by the Women’s Championship game at approximately 3:15 p.m.

The games are being produced through a collaboration between the student run broadcast programs at four MIAA institutions, Pittsburg State University, Fort Hays State University, University of Central Missouri and Northwest Missouri State University.  

In addition to the production of the tournament games, the students provide live coverage of the post game press conferences as well as pre-game and post-game reports.

The games will also be carried live on The MIAA Network. Below is the complete list of cable systems and channel information:

Midco Sports Network
Available in Lawrence and the surrounding communities of Northeastern Kansas. Viewers can find MidcoSN on their Midco cable service, channels 32 and 622 (HD).
