Joplin, Mo. – Lindenwood got four runs in the bottom of the sixth to break open a tie game on the way to a 13-3 win over Southwest Baptist.
 
Southwest Baptist struck first in the top of the first inning as Sean Murley got an RBI groundout followed by an RBI single from Nelson Muniz. The Lions answered in the bottom half of the first inning as Drew Quinones singled through the middle plating two runs.
 
The Bearcats would take the lead back in the top half of the second inning as Caleb Sneed singled to drive home Andrew Meier. Lindenwood would answer with a run of their own in the bottom of the fourth by back-to-back doubles from Connor Behrens and Rayce Singbush.
 
The Lions would take their first lead of the game when they plated four runs in the bottom of the sixth. Rayce Singbush got his second RBI of the game driving home Kyle Teter before Wes Degener plated two with an RBI single to right center.
 
Tyler Muehling would drive home the Paul Sherwood with a sacrifice fly to make it a 7-3 lead. The Lions would plate two more in the bottom of the seventh as Behrens had an RBI single and Sam Baxter doubled down the left field line to bring Berhens home.
 
The Lions would close out the game with a run-rule plating three in the bottom of the eighth a RBI from Behring, Muehling and Singbush.
 
Singbush finished with three runs driven in while Kyle Teter went four for five with two runs scored. Brendon Feldman threw a complete game to pick up the win striking out four and allowing just four earned runs.

LWU will await the winner of Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri while SBU will await the loser of that game tomorrow.
