Kansas City, Mo. – Northeastern State is 33 shots over par to lead after the first day of the MIAA Women’s Golf Championship at the par 72, 5,893 yard Swope Memorial Golf Course.
Central Oklahoma sits second at 42 over par with Lindenwood at 46 shots from par on the first day. Missouri Western is two shots behind them in fourth place while Central Missouri rounds out the top five at 54 over par.
Individually Dakota Limkemann of LIndenwood and Marla Souvannasing of Central Oklahoma carded 77 on the day to lead at five over par. Sydney Roberts of Central Oklahoma came in a 78 for six over par while Northeastern State’s Ebba Moberg is seven over par. Lexi Armon also of the RiverHawks rounds out the top five at seven over par on the afternoon.
Teams will tee off tomorrow for the second round of the tournament with teams hitting the course at 8:30 a.m.
