Kansas City, Mo. – Central Oklahoma swept Pittsburg State today to claim second MIAA regular season title in softball and first since 2013. The Bronchos earn the top seed in the MIAA Softball Championship which will be April 27-29 from the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The top seeded Bronchos will open the tournament at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 27 against eighth seeded Emporia State. On the bottom half of the bracket second seed Pittsburg State will take on seventh seeded Southwest Baptist in a 5 p.m. first pitch.
Central Missouri earned the third seed and will face sixth seeded Northwest Missouri in a 5 p.m. opening round game on Thursday. The fourth seed goes to Missouri Southern who will face off with fifth seeded Missouri Western in the opening round on April 27.
First round games will be played at 5 p.m. on April 27 with second round games scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Okla.
