Kansas City, Mo. – Northwest Missouri wrapped up their eighth straight MIAA Men’s Regular Season Championship today while earlier in the week the Northeastern State women won their third straight title. Teams will head to Lincoln, Neb. on April 18-20 where they will compete at the Dillon Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska.
In the women’s bracket, the fourth, fifth and sixth seed teams were determined via tie-breaking procedures. Northeastern State earns the top seed and will face eighth seeded Lindenwood at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18. At the same time, Southwest Baptist, who earned the second seed, will face off with seventh seeded Emporia State.
In the 6 p.m. matches one day one, third seeded Central Oklahoma will face off with sixth seeded Washburn while fourth seeded Nebraska-Kearney takes on fifth seeded Northwest Missouri.
On the men’s side top seed Northwest Missouri will open against fourth seeded Emporia State at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19. Southwest Baptist earned the second seed and will face third seed Washburn in the same session.
