Kansas City, Mo. – Second seeded Central Missouri used a 17-7 run halfway through the first half to get the early advantage in a 75-57 win over third seed Nebraska-Kearney in the first of two semifinals.
 
UCM shot .549 from the field and .842 from behind the free-throw line to earn the shot at the MIAA title.
 
For the Mules Spencer Reaves led the way soring 20 points while Marquiez Lawrence had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. DJ Richardson was also in double figures with 14 points in the ballgame.
 
For the Lopers Trey Lansman led the way scoring 18 points and pulling down seven rebounds. Yashua Trent had 12 points while Ty Danielson added 11 points and Kyle Juhl pulled down a team best seven boards.
 
Central Missouri earns a spot in the MIAA Championship game where they will face either #1 Northwest Missouri or #4 Missouri Southern for a 1 p.m. tip from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
