Oklahoma City, Okla. – Three teams remain as the MIAA Softball Championship heads into the final day at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.
#4 Pittsburg State 2, #8 Southwest Baptist 0 (SBU eliminated)
Fourth seeded Pittsburg State gave up just two hits as they earned a 2-0 victory over eighth seeded Southwest Baptist to remain alive at the MIAA Softball Tournament.
Nicole Nease led the way for the Gorillas going one for two with a run batted in and Myka Hayward finished with the same line.
In the circle Emmie Robertson allowed just two hits while striking out eight to pick up the victory.
PSU will face Central Oklahoma tomorrow in the an elimination game at 10 a.m. from Stadium Field.

Top seeded Missouri Western only had four hits, but made them count in a 2-0 victory over third seeded Central Oklahoma.
For the Griffons Kate Klosterman went one for two with a run scored while Sydney Washington finished one for two with a run driven in. Kailey Green also added an RBI as Morgan Rathmann scored the other run.
In the circle Janie Smith scattered seven hits while striking out five on the way to the complete game win.
MWSU will now await the winner of the tomorrow’s PSU/UCO game in the Championship game at 12 noon on the Stadium Field. Central Oklahoma will square off with Pittsburg State tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. from the Stadium field.
