Warrensburg, Mo. – Top seeded Central Missouri scored three goals after a weather delay of more than an hour to close out a 4-0 victory over eighth seeded Washburn in the first round of the MIAA Women’s Soccer Tournament.
 
UCM struck first in the 54^th minute as Baylie Edwards scored off a deflection just before a weather delay of over an hour halted play. Megan Woolley would net the second game in the 70^th minute of the game taking an assist from Edwards.
 
Emily Griffon scored in the 81^st minute to make it a 3-0 tally off the assist from Jada Scott. Woolly would then net her second goal of the night as she headed in a pass from Mikala Modiri. Ana Dilkes made seven saves to pick up the shutout victory in goal.
 
Central Missouri will face fifth seeded Lindenwood at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 from Warrensburg, Mo.
