Lawrence, Kan. – Central Oklahoma was 23 over par to take the overall lead at the MIAA Women’s Golf Championship at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kan.
UCO shot a 311 on the second day on the par 72, 6,012-yard course while LIndenwood shot a 313 on the day to move into a tie for second place. Northeastern State shot 323 as they also finish the day tied for second and 13 strokes back of leader UCO.
Baylee Prie of Northeastern State stayed atop the leaderboard shooting an 80 to finish the day 10 over par. Daniela Martinez sits in seconds just two strokes back while Kayla Schroeder of NSU is just three strokes back along with LWU’s Alanna Hayes and UCO’s Marla Souvannasing.
The final round of the tournament will start at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow from Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kan.
