Lawrence, Mo. – As a team Central Missouri shot just two over par to climb to the top of the leaderboard for the second straight day at the MIAA Men's Golf Championship.
 
UCM shot a 290 on the par 72, 6,829-yard course while Central Oklahoma shot 300 as a team to claim second place overall. Washburn used a 308 to retain their hold on third place after two rounds.
 
Individually Central Oklahoma’s Eric Kline shot even par on the day to finish three from par and tied a top the leader board. Cy Moritz of Central Missouri shot one over par to retain at least a share of the clubhouse leaderboard. Travis Mays had the round of the day shooting a one under par 71 to move to five over for the tournament in third place.

The final round of the tournament will start at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow from Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kan.
