Lawrence, Kan. – Central Oklahoma holds a one stroke advantage over Northeastern State after the first day of the MIAA women’s golf championships at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kan.
UCO carded a 320 on the par 72, 6,012 yard course while Northeastern State came in at 321 on the day. LIndenwood is sitting in third place shoot a 331 which is 43 over par.
Individually Baylee Price of Northeastern State shot a first round low 74 which puts her two from par. Daniela Martinez of Central Oklahoma currently sits in second with a 76, four over and Kayla Schroeder of Northeastern State is six over par with a 78 round.
The women will take to the course again tomorrow with tee times scheduled for 8:30 a.m. from Alvamar in Lawrence, Kan.
